The Brick / The Brick Warehouse LP / Mississauga ON 860,000 square feet
To service their expanding retail outlets in Ontario, The Brick chose Giffels to replace the existing Rexdale warehouse with a new distribution facility which is also designed to provide improved customer pick-up of merchandise. The new distribution centre has direct exposure to Highway 410 and excellent access to major highways and Intermodal yards. Giffels team located the 50-acre site, facilitated its rezoning from agricultural to industrial and optimized the site and warehouse design to suit. The warehouse was constructed to provide a 38 ft clear narrow aisle storage system to support the ever increasing diverse inventory carried at the retail locations. The building and site was designed to support a future expansion of the building which will ultimately be in excess of 1,000,000 sf.
