National Distribution Centre / UPS Supply Chain Solutions / Burlington ON 819, 935 square feet
Located on a 102-acre site immediately north of the QEW this location serves as UPS' national distribution facility. The fast track project was designed and constructed by Giffels. The Hoover site now known as the Burlington Business Park allows the option for UPS to further add an additional 350,000 sf. The project is broken down into two separate buildings (612,190 sf and 207,745 sf) and features a super flat slab for UPS's computerized logistics system to pick orders up to 40 ft above the finished floor with extreme precision and speed.
