College Expansion / Sheridan College / Oakville ON37,500 square feet
Giffels, through a competitive bid process, was awarded the design and construction of a three storey expansion to Sheridan College, Trafalgar Campus. The first phase of work involved the demolition of existing ground level corridors and a two storey structure that is part of an existing building constructed some 40 years ago. Demolition and construction were undertaken while the College was in session and continued until mid summer. Giffels managed the project team of subcontractors and consultants to maximize the efficient use of available time in order to complete this fast track project in 30 weeks.
