Located at the entrance to the University of Northern British Columbia campus, Northern Sports Centre (NSC) features, a multi-court gym, suspended indoor track, multi-use indoor field, physiotherapy and sport medicine/athlete testing and research facilities. In addition, the program includes concessions/retail spaces, a weight training room and that interfaces with the existing cross-county ski trail system. The NSC supports high-performance athletes and coaches for training and sport development and was planned as part of the overall lasting legacy to the 2010 Olympic and Paralympics' Games.
