Le Havre Saint Louis approached Giffels for the construction of a 212 unit housing complex, which features 86 townhouses and 126 multiplex units. Giffels was involved at the preliminary design stage, with the client’s architect to review and ensure that the most cost effective construction and building materials were being implemented. Different floor plan layouts were analyzed to optimize pricing while maintaining a high quality finish as requested by the developer. Giffels worked closely with Développement Immobilier Havre Saint-Louis to continually value engineer the project and control the cost over the 4 year construction time frame. Giffels scope included site development, infrastructure, services and landscaping.
