The Association of Management, Administrative, and Professional Crown Employees of Ontario contracted Giffels to provide them with a system to manage over 5000 members across Ontario. We developed an application to provide the association with a distributed database containing member status, details, dues history, numerous administrative reports, as well as the ability to interface with the provincial government’s records to obtain updates and identify any discrepancies with members’ details.


The monthly updates that are provided as an external file from the Ministry of Government Services forms the basic input and update of AMAPCEO’s members list. Routines were developed to parse, extract and flag data based on data types and changes.
