Giffels was introduced to Norris Sylvite Ltd. through Giffels Management, who had signed the Logistics group on as a new tenant at our 4041 North Service Road industrial multi-unit facility. The front portion of the facility facing North Service Road was comprised of 80,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space and 10,000 sq. ft. of existing office space to be completely gutted and retrofitted. The existing glazed aluminum window wall along the three front elevations was demolished, and fitted with a new tinted curtainwall glazed system. Through installation of the new façade, Giffels was able to brighten the inside of the office space with more natural light, and provide a fresh feature to the aged brick structure.

Giffels had prepared space plan for the new office layout and had been responsible for the demolition and construction of the tenant improvements. The existing manufacturing equipment and services within the warehouse space were removed, to recapture the available space for new storage and distribution. The original space was heavily laden with concrete masonry rooms, a mezzanine, ducting and service piping that were all demolished. The three existing truck loading doors were enlarged to 8' x 10' and two new truck level doors were added to accommodate the new tractor traffic flow.
