Southern Graphics Systems of Canada (an Alcoa Company) discussed the need for increased warehouse storage capacity with their landlord Summit REIT Property Management. As a result, Summit REIT turned to Giffels to deliver a turnkey warehouse addition. Along with our in-house staff of municipal planners, architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical consultants, Giffels designed and constructed the warehouse expansion one month ahead of the original scheduled completion date.

The expansion was spatially challenged on the site due to property setbacks, greenbelt restrictions, overhead power line obstructions, and tight trucking access. Within the new warehouse space, our affiliated firm Giffels provided assistance with racking layouts and traffic flow considerations to maximize logistic efficiencies.
